Hi! Tim George here- founder of Prop, Stick, and Rudder. A fan of aviation since I was a little boy, I was inspired to quite literally pull back the curtain on General Aviation. There is quite so much information that people don't know about General Aviation. So, that's why I created Prop, Stick, and Rudder. Our goal is to inspire, encourage, and help children, young adults, veterans.... well, anyone, to find their passion in the adventurous world of aviation. We promise to pull back the curtain of aviation and to help those who are inspired to learn more
about how to get started and why the aviation field is growing. General aviation is the foundation for commercial aviation, which makes the world go round (no pun intended!) Did you know that general aviation airports are closing at an alarming rate? This is scary for so many reasons... such as where will private pilots land when they go on their adventures? Thousands of pilots are needed to replace the retiring pilots of the aviation industry. There is also a major lack of new pilots in the industry. Another reason we want to
bring awareness to the aviation industry is because it can be the answer to "What's Next" for our veterans. Young adults will make better career decisions when exposed to many options, and childhood dreams are the foundation for todays career.
